I once did maintenance on an Australian made PAX ferry Catamaran. That monster was 100% fly by wire - he had a network of Sun Solaris computers and the bridge was pretty much high tech!

I remember being so excited on toying that huge ship's bridge that I forgot to bill the service at the end! :D
