A Myasishchev VM-T (alike) Study

Some days ago, I stumbled across this on Reddit, and by some reason it immediately made me remind of this:

The M-4 and the VM-T variant are not delta winged bombers, so I don't really know why I thought of it, but anyway... This is my way of scratching that mind itch! :)

The Shuttle is the Stock Dynawing stripped from all attachments and resources, and I shoved a fairing on her's arse just for visuals - I didn't reattached the engines, just plugged the fairing on an empty Attachment Node and clipped everything, so the drag are still there.

Two engines weren't enough, though - the thing even took off, but barely reached 2K high under a pity speed - so I strapped 2 more Whesleys and they did the trick. This also gave me more space for fuel, she can now carry the Shuttle for about 3.5K KMs, more than half Kerbin's circumference (with some extra fuel on the bomb bay)

With so much extra trust, I also decided to extend the fuselage a bit giving her an extra large cargo bay. These changes made her looking a bit more to the VM-T, so double win for me! 😄

Nice plane, dear lewispatty. Lots of potential - and it's pretty pretty too! 😍
